I want to laugh with you. I want to be adventurous with you. I want to have a drink, or three, with you. I want my pictures to tell the story of my new friends. I am a South Lake Tahoe, CA and Austin, TX based wedding photographer and portrait photographer also specializing in commercial photography, special events and lifestyle marketing and branding photography. I love capturing people in their element, whether it’s with the one’s they love or doing what they love.
What I Do
I love candid moments, dance floors, and fun. No matter how you’ve planned it, your big day is going to unfold naturally. My trained, photojournalistic eye gravitates toward the genuine, sometimes emotion-fueled moments, and nothing makes me happier than highlighting the fact that real life isn’t posed. While focused on Austin and Lake Tahoe wedding photography, I will travel everywhere!
I want you to feel at home in your photographs. If it’s an engagement session, it should feel like going on a date (happy hour included). If I’m photographing a family, I want it to involve activities for your kids. We might scramble on rocks, climb in trees, or splash in Lake Tahoe. My name is Lauren and I want to take your picture. I am originally from Austin, Texas and a Longhorn at heart. I moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2006, when the temperatures were over 100 degrees 100 days straight in Austin and never looked back. Although I call South Lake Tahoe, CA home, I still spend quite a bit of time working and playing in Austin. My Lake Tahoe and Austin event, commercial, and wedding photography packages come bundled or are fully customizable so that you can build your own. I offer lifestyle marketing and branding sessions as stand alone sessions or in a customizable subscription package. Although I am based in Lake Tahoe, I provide my services as destinations nationwide.
