New Orleans Event Photographer
New Orleans isn’t just another destination on my calendar. It’s my favorite city in the world and my part-time home. My family lives here, and I make it a point to visit multiple times a year, often planning trips around the city’s famous festivals. Between Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, and countless others, there’s always something to celebrate in the Crescent City.
While many clients first hire me for their Austin events, they often bring me to New Orleans year after year. My rates are the same no matter the location, so you can count on consistent, high-quality coverage whether your conference is downtown or your gala is in a historic Garden District mansion.
Why New Orleans is Perfect for Corporate Events
New Orleans offers a rare mix of cultural richness, history, and world-class hospitality that few cities can match. French, Spanish, African, and Caribbean influences create a city unlike any other—where live jazz on every corner is as common as catching a “second line” parade on your way to a meeting.
Attendees will find cobblestone streets in the French Quarter, grand oak-lined avenues in the Garden District, and some of the best food in the U.S. (Pro tip: get the wood-fired oysters at Cochon, blue crab beignets at La Petite Grocery, and lamb ragu at Shaya.)
The city’s venues are equally diverse: from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, where I photographed the Sustainable Packaging Coalition’s 850+ attendee conference, to historic hotels, boutique spaces, and modern meeting halls. And if you time it right, your conference could coincide with one of the city’s major festivals, making your event an even bigger draw.
My Approach as a New Orleans Event Photographer
With a home base in Uptown and years of experience photographing here, I know how to navigate the city’s unique event landscape. Whether your event spans multiple rooms, floors, or venues, I work quickly, decisively, and with keen observation. My patience is unfounded y’all! I am adept at waiting for authentic moments to unfold rather than forcing them.
My focus is on capturing energy, connection, and candid emotion in a way that helps you tell the story of your event long after it’s over. That means:
- Same-day highlight delivery (30–100 fully edited images) so you can use them immediately for press releases, internal communications, and social media blasts.
- Full gallery within three business days, ready for marketing, sponsor decks, and future event promotion.
- Consistent, on-brand coverage that reflects your organization’s style, values, and goals.
Why Clients Bring Me Back
Loyalty is a pillar of my business model. Working together year after year means I already know your event flow, key players, and brand priorities, so I can anticipate what’s important and deliver exactly what you need with less direction. That efficiency saves you time and ensures your visual content is always aligned with your message.
From the jazz-filled streets to the high-ceilinged ballrooms, I’ll make sure your New Orleans event imagery captures both the professionalism of your brand and the infectious spirit of the city.

My SXSW 2025 Highlights: My Top 10
As usual, SXSW 2025 was a whirlwind of incredible moments, and I had the privilege of capturing them firsthand. From watching Sir Jude work her magic at the Central Presbyterian Church, to witnessing Sam Ryder’s explosive debut at the BME, it was a week full of surprises. I got to photograph artists whose music and energy left a lasting impression, including Bruvvy’s chaotic messy set and the powerful discussions at panels like Defying Invisibility with the lead actors from Hulu's new show Deli Boys. SXSW is always a unique experience, but this year felt particularly special, and I can’t wait to see where these artists go next.
SXSW Survival Tips: How to Survive SXSW | Part 2
SXSW, otherwise known as my absolute favorite 10 days of the year, every year, is an annual convergence of technology, film, and music in Austin, Texas. It's 10 days of thriving on adrenaline and chaos. It's a beacon of creativity and innovation. Drawing attendees from diverse industries worldwide, it's unparalleled popularity can certainly be attributed to the dynamic blend of cutting-edge technology showcases, an extensive list of film premieres, and my favorite - the off-the-beaten-path version of its music festival which celebrates and heralds unsigned and new artists. As promised, I'm back with part II in my series on how to survive SXSW like a pro with more SXSW survival tips.
How to Survive SXSW | Part 1
75,000 people are about to descend upon Austin, TX for SXSW, one of the world's premier music, film and tech festivals. While SXSW is mostly known for its music festival, what really brings the money to Austin (and $350 million plus of it at that), is the Interactive portion, which draws a young audience of inventors, investors and risk takers looking for networking opportunities and the next big thing. At any given moment all over the city there are thousands of opportunities to learn, network, workshop and cultivate relationships. For over 12 years now, I've been working for the Sales Department at the event, as a client event photographer responsible for documenting the return on investment for their sponsors. It's exhausting. It's exhilarating. It's incredibly fun. If you're attending for the first time and looking for some answers on how to survive SXSW, I got you boo.
