From the high-capacity Atlantis Casino Resort or the Grand Sierra Resort to the resort-style properties and lakeside venues of Tahoe like the Everline, I’ve photographed large-scale conventions, destination conferences, nonprofit galas, and multi-day leadership retreats here.

In Reno, my focus is on efficiency in busy spaces, including covering keynote speakers, sponsor activations, and networking in large exhibit halls. In Lake Tahoe, I incorporate the natural surroundings into your imagery, blending professional coverage with the sense of place that makes your event unforgettable.

Because I live in Tahoe year round, I understand the weather patterns, lighting conditions, and seasonal considerations that out of town photographers might miss. I also know how to navigate venue access, parking, and timing so your schedule runs smoothly and stress free.

At the same time, about 75 percent of my work is corporate events outside Tahoe. That means I bring a higher level of event knowledge and experience than most local photographers, who primarily focus on weddings. One of the advantages of hiring a Lake Tahoe-based event photographer is knowing how the seasons affect everything from lighting to logistics. Tahoe is beautiful year-round, but each season comes with its own considerations:

Winter (December–March)
Snow can create magical backdrops for corporate retreats and incentive trips, but it also means building in extra travel time and having indoor contingency plans for weather. Lighting changes quickly in winter, so I plan shot lists and timing carefully to make the most of available daylight.

Spring (April–June)
Spring brings longer days and fewer crowds, making it ideal for multi-day conferences or team-building retreats. The weather can be unpredictable, so I prepare for both indoor and outdoor shooting opportunities.

Summer (July–September)
Summer is Tahoe’s peak season, with clear skies, warm evenings, and endless outdoor venue options. This is also when traffic and visitor numbers are highest, so timing, travel, and logistics are key and something I manage with precision as a local.

Fall (October–November)
Fall offers crisp air, golden aspens, and quieter venues. It’s a favorite for leadership retreats and smaller-scale events, with a balance of great light and fewer scheduling conflicts.
