Tahoe River House Retreat Wedding | Mariela + Andrew

This Tahoe River House Retreat wedding is yet another wedding that I should have blogged AGES ago, but never got around to. Mariela and Andrew, who were married in 2019, came to me by way of Morgan and Vittawat, who were married in 2018. Referrals to actual wedding guests who happened to have already seen me in action is always SO great and this wedding was no exception. I even brought back the original dream team duo, bringing my friend and exceptionally talented photographer Tyler Ray of Gull Photo back down from Seattle. He also helped with Morgan and Vittawat’s wedding so CLEARLY he had to be there for Mariela and Andrew’s also!

Mariela and Andrew had a dual location wedding: a ceremony and cocktail hour at The Landing Resort and Spa on their rooftop wedding deck, followed by a reception, dinner, and dancing at the absolutely incredible Tahoe River House Retreat in Meyers, CA, one of the ONLY private estates in South Lake Tahoe that allows for weddings and events. With plenty of parking and no neighbors, this VHR is the perfect spot for a South Lake Tahoe private backyard wedding, complete with a teepee!
