Revive Coffee and Wine is one of my favorite venues in South Lake Tahoe for intimate backyard weddings. It feels almost like you’re at your own house – with a lush garden, aspens and pine trees for shade, and an intimate outdoor setting that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of Highway 50 just steps out the front door. Most of the weddings I’ve photographed there are charming events for folks who want the wedding of their dreams on a smaller scale and budget and honestly, it’s the perfect location for that. Becky and Tim’s Revive Coffee and Wine wedding was all of this: a relaxed afternoon getting ready together at the always charming Basecamp Hotel, incredible food catered by Macduff’s, a killer dance party with a playlist Tim curated himself since he’s in the music industry himself, an open mic with both moving, tear inducing and sometimes hilarious speeches from the people they love most in the world, lawn games, and an a cappella rendition of a Talking Heads song from Tim to his wife.
