Beth and Sally celebrated their union with a Heavenly LGBT+ wedding literally surrounded by all the amazing children they have in their family, overlooking Lake Tahoe on the Blue Sky Terrace at Heavenly Ski Resort.  Family is incredibly important to both of them and although Beth and Sally were surrounded by all the incredible people that love them on their wedding day.  Sally’s brother officiated the ceremony and there wasn’t a dry eye on that terrace, a trend that was repeated when Sally’s dad gave his very moving champagne toast!

It was an intimate day that was almost completely DIY.  Beth and Sally bucked tradition and did many things that I find standard in LGBT+ weddings, like getting ready together and processing together down the aisle.  It was representative of both of them and their time together – they designed their own gifts, artwork, invites and florals.

After finalizing their union at Heavenly, Beth, Sally and all of their friends and family headed to the Nevada Beach Pavilion for pizza, games, and beach time at the reception.  It was an adventure filled day that completely suited their outgoing and outdoorsy personalities.  I am so incredibly happy to finally post images from this wedding in celebration of Pride month.
