It was an intimate day that was almost completely DIY. Beth and Sally bucked tradition and did many things that I find standard in LGBT+ weddings, like getting ready together and processing together down the aisle. I LOVE backyard weddings. I love the simplicity. I love the camaraderie. I love the uniqueness. I love that people make it their own. I love that there are usually long tables with family style dining and open seating plans. I love dancing under twinkle lights and stars.
