What started out as an micro wedding with a family style dinner under the stars in Bend, OR changed plans and iterations and dates quite a few times before it morphed into the absolutely perfect intimate Sedona elopement that it was, bringing no less joy. At the end of the day, Jacquie and Doug just wanted to get married and I was thrilled to be there for them.

I walked into Heather and Evan's Sand Harbor microwedding not quite knowing what to expect. It's one of my favorite ways to roll into a wedding day: with a little bit of mystery and excitement over the unknown. When I arrived, I gauged from their friends and family that were already gathered EXACTLY what the day was going to be like: full of relaxed laughter, good natured ribbing, and rapidly flowing alcohol.
