A break in the clouds. Less wildfire smoke than we expected. A dog ring bearer. A beautiful evening. A shot ski. A raging epic dance party. An LED balloon exit.

These are the ingredients that created the amazing day that was Julia and Patrick’s West Shore Cafe wedding.  To be honest, the West Shore Cafe is one of my all time favorite venues on Lake Tahoe and when you pair it with exceptional planning and execution thanks to Stephanie Marie and Co, you have all the elements of a magical day.  Patrick and Julia desperately just wanted a dance party with all their favorite people (much like Abby and Dave) and Pop Rocks SF delivered with hardly any breaks (and no slow songs).  Everyone in that reception room was a hot sweaty mess.  We ended the night with a LED balloon exit that had me very excited and while it was harder to execute than we expected, I would say it was worth every popped balloon.  I think, however, that Steph might feel differently since I had absolutely 0% energy invested in blowing up LED balloons and 100% of the energy in choosing them.
