South Lake Tahoe Pride Month events

By |June 10th, 2024|Event Photos, LGBT, Tahoe, Tips, Tips for Creatives, Volunteer|

June is my favorite month of the year – and not just because it’s my birthday month – but also because it’s PRIDE month! It’s a month of rainbows, parades, and celebration as communities worldwide come together to honor inclusivity, diversity, and the fabulous rainbow that is the LGBTQ community. I love it! A few years ago, I started participating in activities with Tahoe Pride. For one, to support my friends who are part of the community, and second, to make sure that our LGBTQ community understood that they have allies in our town. Our Tahoe Pride community is small but mighty, full of great people that I’ve come to call friends. They have a weekly mixer on Tuesdays (often with a game night theme) that I attend regularly, but in June they really kick the scheduling up a notch! If you want to help celebrate South Lake Tahoe Pride Events, there is something happening every week of June.

El Dorado Hills Photographer | Passport Weekend

By |May 6th, 2024|Event Photos, Travel, Wine|

Nestled in California's Gold Rush Region, El Dorado County boasts a wealth of wineries often overlooked by wine enthusiasts. Adjacent to South Lake Tahoe, this picturesque landscape hosts the annual El Dorado Wines Passport Weekend, a two-day event showcasing the region's finest wines and culinary delights. As the official El Dorado Hills photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing the event's essence—the laughter, camaraderie, and the wines—while sharing the experience with friends and even my dog. Join me for a weekend of wine, friends, and unforgettable memories in California's hidden wine country gem. Cheers to wine!

New Orleans is without a doubt my favorite city in the world - and I have been to a lot of places! I'm lucky to call it a part-time home since I have family that lives there. Between Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest, and more, there is always something fun happening in this vibrant city. Thanks to its culture, rich history, and incredible cuisine, New Orleans is the perfect location for your next corporate event. I was recently there with my favorite client, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. I'm here to convince you that New Orleans might just have the upper hand on the best city for your next corporate event! Sultry jazz, centuries-old architecture, and a spirit that is as infectious as it is captivating - what's not to like?

I have been a traveling corporate event photographer for over a decade now, serving events such as SXSW in Austin, the NICC in Reno, CES in Las Vegas, and more. When I was hired by Bluegreen.org to photograph their Austin event, SPC Impact, they were so pleased with my deliverables that I am now their in-house event photographer. Most recently, I was thrilled to perform as a Boston event photographer for them at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport for SPC Advance, a smaller but still fascinating event by a company I love working for.
