Revive Coffee and Wine Backyard Wedding | Matt + Elizabeth
Neither a pandemic, nor a fire, could derail Elizabeth and Matt's plans. After two reschedules, three dates, and a fire evacuation, Elizabeth and Matt finally had the backyard garden wedding of the dreams and I would be apt to say that the phrase "third time's a charm" is perfectly applicable here.
Edgewood Tahoe Wedding | Amanda + Luke
Sometimes I get things REALLY wrong and Luke and Amanda's Edgewood Tahoe wedding was one of these things. I had a preconceived expectation for their event: I didn't think it was going to be very rowdy, I didn't expect them to be big partiers AT ALL, and over all I just sort of expected this quiet very subdued fancy pants Edgewood wedding. BOY WAS I WRONG. Read all about it the big surprise of the night here!
Plumpjack Inn Wedding | Sonni + Forest | Olympic Valley, CA
There was dancing and there was singing. And then there was more dancing and then there was more singing. And ultimately, there was dancing and singing all over the place at an absolutely hilarious and epic Plumpjack Inn Wedding. The only thing we could have used less of: ..... wind. Did you think I was going to say "dancing and singing"?? NEVER. There's never too much of that!

From the travel bugs to the homebodies, there are a ton of things you can do with the money you've saved for that giant wedding that you may no longer want to throw. You desperately want to get married, but planning a wedding during a global pandemic is, well, still not fun. Jimbo’s Club at the Point Wedding | Michelle and Jeff
The beauty of a destination wedding is that it feels like a vacation with all of your favorite people together. The beauty of a summer camp destination wedding is that all of your favorite people are together in the same place at a SUMMER CAMP. And when I say that there is nothing better than adult summer camp, you should believe me. The tl:dr of this post is that Michelle and Jeff did it 100% right with their Jimbo's Club at the Point wedding in upstate NY and I loved all of it.
West Shore Cafe Wedding | Julia + Patrick
A break in the clouds. Less wildfire smoke than we expected. A dog ring bearer. A beautiful evening. A shot ski. A raging epic dance party. An LED balloon exit. These are the ingredients that created the amazing day that was Julia and Patrick's West Shore Cafe wedding.
Three things you need to consider when planning a 2022 wedding
From the need to downsize and change timelines—sometimes at a moment’s notice—you can say that wedding planning has become much more involved. Revive Coffee and Wine Wedding | Becky + Tim
Revive Coffee and Wine is one of my favorite venues in South Lake Tahoe for intimate backyard weddings. It feels almost like you're at your own house - with a lush garden, aspens and pine trees for shade, and an intimate outdoor setting that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of Highway 50 just steps out the front door.

Planning a wedding or event and interested in photography packages and pricing? Here’s what you need to know before you start inquiring about wedding photography packages and pricing, no matter who your photographer is going to be.
Woods Walk Wedding | Crested Butte, CO | Abby + David
It's been an emotional year and I have to say, it's been quite possibly my most favorite year of work as a wedding photographer ever. Every single of one my major weddings so far in 2020 has been ones that were rescheduled or postponed due to covid. Every single one of them has been an incredibly unique, boisterous and otherwise joyous celebration in every way. Abby and David's Woods Walk wedding in Crested Butte, CO was nothing short of spectacular and equally memorable in every way.
Debunking 5 wedding myths and superstitions
There are hundreds of myths and superstitions to keep you preoccupied during your wedding day and as soon as you start planning, everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, is going to have an opinion on how you run your day. I’m debunking five of the most common wedding myths and superstitions to help keep your stress low, because on your day, the only thing you should feel beholden to is your partner. Seriously, don’t stress about having “something blue” if you don’t even like the color just because your mother is convinced you need to.
Dayton Backyard Wedding | Tricia + Tracy
Tricia and Tracy only hired me for a few hours for their Dayton backyard wedding, but those few hours were nothing short of hilarious spectacular joy. There may have been oppressively relentless 102 degree heat in the desert, wild fire smoke caking the mountain views, and crying uncomfortable children (#lifeishard), but the rest of us had the greatest time ever. More from this boisterous LGBTQ microwedding here!
